Thermacell achieves full effectiveness within 10 - 15 minutes of being turned on. It creates a protective barrier covering an area of 20 m². The device repels mosquitoes by emitting d-allethrin - an equivalent of a substance found in flowers that provides protection against pests. It is a natural substance, completely safe for humans and animals.
