Knife Cold Steel Large Luzon 20NQX

The Cold Steel Medium Luzon 20NQL is a slim and light-weight pocket knife for an amazing price. The result of a fruitful cooperation between Mike Wallace and Cold Steel founder Lynn C. Thompson. They became inspired by the slim and pointed automatic knives. But because these are not always legal Cold Steel has used a 'normal' flipper opening. So no springs.
Instead Cold Steel paid special attention to a strong lock. Like we have grown accustomed to. The linerlock is namely enhanced with a secondary lock to make sure you can properly secure the lock. As such it won't accidentally close when you don't want it to.
Cold Steel made sure the weight of the Luzon stayed low. They were successful, especially when you look at the length of the blade. The handle is made from FRN: a glass fibre reinforced plastic that is light-weight and strong at the same time. Even the pocket clip is made from FRN. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV steel. This is a stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen.
