Silva Terra Expedition S compass

A professional map compass with a classic boxed design. It was made of polymer and REVO (recycled plastic reinforced with hemp fibers).
The model is equipped with photoluminescent markings on the rotating dial, needle and plate for easy use in low-light conditions. The compass also features a magnifying glass, 85mm and 3-inch rulers, a pendulumclinometer (tilt angle indicator) and scales of 1:24,000, 1:25,000 and 1:50,000.
The compass is also equipped with a pendulum index.
Under the lockable flap there is a mirror, which allows you to determine bearing while viewing the compass dial. The mirror also has a signaling function, allowing you to indicate your position and transmit messages in the alphabet Morse. Magnetic declination correction allows the compass to be used in any part of the world.
The kit includes a card that, along with a map, allows you to assess whether you are entering an area of potential avalanche. The included lanyard has 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 scales plotted on it.
