When the safe level of 85 dB is exceeded, an electronic circuit turns off the microphones and suppresses the noise.
SportTac amplifies sounds below 85 dB, so you can hear better in the protectors than without them. A huge advantage is the ability to adjust the volume of sounds and conversations heard, depending on your needs and the situation. The use of advanced electronic circuitry eliminates crackling. In addition, the model is equipped with a smooth reproduction system that prevents sudden drops in the level of sound heard.
The protectors are powered by two AAA batteries (mounted in one canopy). The manufacturer has used an automatic energy-saving mode, which turns off the protectors after two hours of inactivity. It is also worth mentioning that the electronic system remembers the last volume settings and informs about low battery levels. On a single set of batteries, the protectors can operate for up 600 hours.
Activation and volume adjustments are made via 3 large buttons. The bottom part is profiled, so the ear protectors do not interfere with shooting. The wide cushions isolate noise very well and can be easily kept clean. The profiled headband evenly distributes pressure on the head, so the protectors can be worn for a long time without feeling uncomfortable pressure. The expandable design makes it easy to adjust the protectors to the shape of the shooter's head.
